We had the honor of being a part of an amazing couple’s special day. Keely & Adam tied the knot on February 12, 2023 at Bowing Oaks in Jacksonville, Florida. But before we get into that magical day, let’s go back to where their love story began.
From Dating to Engaged
Keely and Adam met during their senior year of college when they were both TAs in the art room. They felt a connection from the start and quickly became best friends who could talk about anything and everything. Little did they know that this friendship was blossoming into something more. After college ended, Keely headed off to pursue her dreams while Adam moved to Hawaii for work for 18 months.
One beautiful Valentine’s Day weekend, Adam’s sister and her friend took Keely on a surprise engagement trip to Georgia! She thought it was just going to be a girls’ weekend away but little did she know what was waiting for her around the corner. The girls got dressed up early in the day to take photos together at Wormsloe Historic Site but suddenly Adam appeared out of nowhere, got down on one knee, and popped the question! Of course, she said yes!

The happy couple chose Bowing Oaks as their wedding venue due to its breathtaking ceremony site under an oak tree, which has similarities to the trees at their engagement location at Wormsloe Historic Site in Georgia.

The Big Day!
For Keely & Adam’s special day, the weather was just absolutely perfect and not hot at all! They could not have asked for a better day!
The decor was elegant with a lot of Celtic touches. The signs all had unique fonts that made you think of “The Lord of the Rings.” And their cake topper was video game characters of the two of them, as that is one of the things they enjoy doing most together.
The best part of the day was the live painter at the reception, which was a surprise for the couple from the wedding party! Such a beautiful keepsake to have for the rest of their lives, in addition to photos and videos, of course!
